Date: 24.04.2010
Time: 4:00 PM
Place: MS2 - Muzeum Sztuki, Lodz / audiovisual hall
Adress: Lodz, ul. Ogrodowa 19
The first conference of that kind in Poland, devoted fully to the phenomenon of fashion in the society as a branch of art and modern culture. It shall be an attempt to answer the questions: what is Polish fashion like? What is modern fashion? In what direction does it go? Who is a fashion designer? Is fashion a driving force of culture? The answers to those questions and many others shall be sought by participants of the conference: fashion experts, foreign and domestic specialists (academic teachers, fashion designers, stylists, journalists, media representatives, fashion photographers, clothing manufacturers).
Both the subject itself and the whole conference are an exceptional event - they are unique on a national scale as it is going to be the first such a big and serious discussion concerning the phenomenon of fashion. The discussion will take place after the main part of the conference, i.e., the speeches of its participants.
